Pete Aguilar Takes Top Spot in Primary Election

Congressman Aguilar received the most votes in California’s 31st Congressional District primary, advances to general election

(San Bernardino, CA) – Out of a field of five candidates, Congressman Pete Aguilar placed first in California’s 31st Congressional District primary, according to results released by the San Bernardino County Elections Office of the Registrar of Voters. Congressman Aguilar now advances to the general election, which will be held on November 8, 2016. Congressman Aguilar issued the following statement in reaction to the results: 


“This election is about choosing the best vision for our community. I believe that giving every child a quality education, securing good-paying jobs for our region, and protecting critical programs like Social Security and Medicare will help strengthen the middle class and put our region on a path to success. I’m grateful to the Inland Empire residents who came out to support our campaign and I look forward to building on the progress we’ve made together.”
