Aguilar’s Grassroots Re-Election Campaign Surges With $1.8 Million Raised

Over $1.2 Million Cash on Hand

San Bernardino, California —¬†Today, Congressman Pete Aguilar’s campaign announced raising over $1.8 million for the 2016 election cycle, with¬†$352,000¬†raised in the first quarter of 2016. Aguilar¬†continues to hold a significant cash advantage over his opponents, with over $1.2 million on hand. Aguilar’s campaign has been¬†powered by a grassroots coalition of over 14,000 individual donors, of which 90 percent have contributed $100 or less.

‚ÄúThis campaign is about making sure Inland Empire families have a leader who will stand up for them by protecting and strengthening Medicare and Social Security, work to bring good-paying jobs to the area, and improve education.
