San Bernardino, CA — Yesterday, Pete Aguilar’s campaign aired a new television spot entitled, “Stand Up for Veterans.” The 30-second advertisement highlights Pete’s legislative accomplishments on behalf of Inland Empire veterans, including the passage of his bill to connect veterans with good-paying jobs in the region.

“Our veterans make enormous sacrifices for us, and we need to make sure that they have access to the resources they need to succeed in civilian life,” said Aguilar. He continued, “From passing legislation to connect local veterans with jobs in our region to helping them access health care and affordable housing, I’ve been committed to serving Inland Empire veterans since I was first elected, and I’ll continue to be an advocate for them if I have the privilege of serving our region for another term in Congress.”

Since his first election to the House of Representatives in 2014, Pete has been a fierce advocate for veterans. Earlier this year the ADVANCE Act, his bill to help veterans use the skills they learned during their service to find good-paying civilian jobs, was signed into law by the president.

The ad is running on cable television and digital platforms. The full 30-second spot can be viewed here.
